Authentic Spanish Flavor. Now at Costco.
Born by the Cantabrian sea. Crafted with tradition
On the northern coast of Spain, where the Cantabrian Sea meets centuries of fishing tradition, lies Santoña — a town internationally renowned for its exceptional anchovies.
At Casa Santoña, we celebrate this heritage through carefully selected seafood and traditional craftsmanship.
Our philosophy is simple: respect the sea, honor our traditions and let the quality of the ingredients speak for itself.
Because great food is not just about flavor. It’s about where it comes from and the people behind it.
Meet the Gilda
Small Bite. Big Personality
Born in the bars of San Sebastián, in Spain’s Basque Country, the Gilda is one of the most iconic Spanish pintxos.
Its traditional combination brings together three unforgettable ingredients:
• Cantabrian anchovy: rich, savory and full of umami.
• Piparra pepper: mild, tangy and slightly spicy.
• Green olive: smooth, briny and delicious.
Legend has it that the pintxo was named after Rita Hayworth’s character in the 1946 movie Gilda, because it was “green, salty and a little spicy.”
Today, this little Spanish classic brings people together around the table.
How to enjoy?
Serve chilled, straight from the package. Enjoy as an appetizer, alongside your favorite drink or as part of a Spanish-inspired tapas spread.
One fish. Two very diferent experiences
Did you know that anchovies and boquerones are actually the same fish?
The difference is in how they are prepared.
Cantabrian Anchovies
Rich. Savory. Intense.
Our traditional anchovies are carefully cured in salt and matured to develop their distinctive deep flavor and tender texture.
• Deep, reddish-brown color.
• Rich umami flavor.
• Delicate, firm texture.
• Traditionally served in olive oil.
Marinated Boquerones
Fresh. Delicate. Bright.
Boquerones are prepared differently. The fresh fish are cleaned and marinated in vinegar and salt, then covered with mild oil.
• Beautiful ivory-white color.
• Fresh, tangy flavor.
• Soft, delicate texture.
• Traditionally served chilled.
Two expressions of Spanish seafood tradition.
