The Margarita NIO, according to one of its earliest stories is that it was invented in Tehuacán Puebla, Mexico, in 1936. Where the manager of the Hotel Garci-Crespo (Danny Negrete) decided to create a drink for his girlfriend who liked salt so much , that I took it with everything I drank. One day, Danny frosted the edge of his glass with salt, and combined tequila, cointreau and lemon juice. Then he stirred the concoction and filled his girlfriend’s cup. That girl tasted the first Margarita in history.
The Margarita is a cocktail composed of tequila, triple dry and lime or lemon juice. It is often served with salt on the edge of the glass. The cocktail is served by shaking the ice (on the rocks), mixed with ice (frozen margarita), or without ice (up). Although it has become acceptable to serve a margarita in a wide variety of glass containers, ranging from glasses of wine and even large schooners, the cocktail is traditionally served in the margarita glass of the same name, a variant of stepped diameter of a cocktail glass or champagne glass, something like an inverted hat.
